With emphasis on the application of engineering solutions to environmental issues, USQ’s Associate Degree of Engineering (Environmental) will prepare you with the skills of impact assessment and management alongside the core scientific elements of Environmental Engineering. The Associate Degree of Engineering will give you the freedom of choice to start up your career or set a stepping stone for further study. 

From 2014 the Associate Degree of Engineering (Environmental Engineering) will be supported on-campus at Fraser Coast. Supported study mode provides you with the opportunity to fit study around your personal commitments via distance study, while still having regular face-to-face access to academic support on-campus.

Already hold a Diploma through TAFE or experience through work? Then fast track your degree with the credit you’ve already earned.

Why Environmental?

You will study specialist topics including water and wastewater treatment, mine site rehabilitation and salinisation. With your knowledge and skills, you will be qualified to work in the fields of river hydrology, mine and landscape rehabilitation, water resources engineering, soil science and engineering problem solving and management as an Engineering Officer.
