The MSc in Offshore Tachnology incorporates two streams of specialisations: Industrial Asset Management and Marine and Subsea Technology.
Industrial Asset Management:Prerequisite: Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline. However, applicants with engineering degrees in mechanical, civil, marine, manufacturing, production, chemical process, mechantronics, etc., with a strong focus on technology, engineering and management of physical assets (machines, equipment, processes, production plants, etc.) and technical production processes will be given preference. Also candidates with relevant industrial experience may be given preference.Subsea Technology:Prerequisite: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Marine Engineering or equivalent. Additionally, 1 semester (1/2 year) of courses in mathematics with good grades are required.English Language Requirements: Test of English as a foreign language (ETS TOEFL?®) with a minimum score of 550 (paper based), 80 (internet-based).International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.0. As a rule, Norwegian universities do not charge tuition fees. All students pay a semester fee of currently NOK 750 per semester.However, international students should be prepared to apply as self-financing full degree students.
