As natural and man-made disasters become more complex, there is a great need to improve the communication and coordination between the various organizations tasked with managing these disasters. We have established this unique multidisciplinary master’s program to foster expertise in managing disasters and mass-casualty events.

This one-year English-taught program covers both theoretical and practical aspects of emergency and disaster management. Its focus is on the organizational systems that must coordinate their efforts with national and international agencies to provide aid. Students from all around the world with different cultural and academic backgrounds have the opportunity to study in Israel, a country well-known for its leadership in disaster management.

Participating students have access to some of the most renowned authorities on emergency and disaster management in our field. Our academic faculty is comprised of world experts, leaders in emergency management and bringing together a wide array of knowledge and expertise based on Israeli and international experience. The program has an extant cooperation with foreign universities including Harvard professors who teach in the program as well as guest speakers locating at the most senior officials in disaster management.
