For those who looking to develop a career in property industry, the Master’s program at the University of Newcastle will give you a solid foundation from which you can further your practical skills and experience in roles such as Property Manager, Facilities Manager, Property Developer, Property Investment Analyst or Property Portfolio Manager.

The Master of Property at the University of Newcastle has been designed to develop highly relevant skills and knowledge to assist you to obtain success in the property industry. To achieve this, the program is entirely prescribed, with eight core courses covering sustainable development, property economics and finance, property and facilities management, through to property law, planning legislation, investment and evaluation, advanced and statutory valuation, and property market analysis. Depending on the entry level, some students may have to study additional two to four directed courses selected from a number of available courses online.

The program will see you emerge with a well-rounded understanding of the market, an ability to identify and analyse trends and understand and apply the legislative framework which governs the industry.

At the end of your studies, you will have a thorough understanding of the property market and will be able to apply this knowledge in a wide range of property-based careers.
