If you have completed an undergraduate degree and are looking to further develop and specialise your subject knowledge, then a postgraduate Master's degree is for you.

On completion of the programme, you will have a good understanding of banks and other financial institutions and their place in the world economy; a thorough understanding of the structure and behaviour of global financial markets; and the ability to use a wide variety of analytical techniques for finance.

During this programme you may study:

You will follow taught modules for the first two semesters, then research and complete a dissertation in the third semester which forms your assessment. This significant piece of written academic work uses the skills and knowledge attained throughout the taught elements of the programme.

A minimum of a second-class Honours degree (2.1 preferred) or equivalent.This programme is aimed at students from a variety of backgrounds, including students withno previous training in economics or accounting.Applicants without these formal qualifications but with significant, appropriate or relevant work/life experience are encouraged to apply. IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all subskills) or equivalent. English Language Requirements IELTS band: 6 IMPORTANT NOTE: Since April 2014 the ETS tests (including TOEFL and TOEIC) are no longer accepted for Tier 4 visa applications to the United Kingdom. The university might still accept these tests to admit you to the university, but if you require a Tier 4 visa to enter the UK and begin your degree programme, these tests will not be sufficient to obtain your Visa.
