With the option of studying a semester abroad, this course provides you with the opportunity to develop an advanced understanding of the complex, changing and multifaceted character of international business as well as the environment in which it operates.

You'll develop the skills necessary to work in such business, enabling you to acquire analytical skills in strategy, management and international finance as well as providing the option to develop further specialism in areas such as, marketing, employment relations, management and finance.

PgDip

You can choose to exit this qualification with a postgraduate diploma (PgDip) after completing six modules or continue to complete the full masters level qualification after completing the dissertation.

Study overseas

Overseas study opportunities are varied: Semester one operates not only in London but also in our partner institutions in Mainz, Germany; Bangkok, Thailand and Chennai, India. Students from these institutions join our London programme in semester two. The language of instruction in all our partner institutions is English.

The MSc International Business by e-learning at IBA is an innovatively structured course that enables students to study wherever and whenever they please at their own pace.

    This module will provide you with an opportunity to independently conceive, plan and execute an appropriate piece of research based on firm academic foundation. The dissertation is required to address an issue that is relevant and important to the field of study being undertaken.

Typically you will be a social science/ business/management graduate (although a conversion course is available for graduates in other disciplines) with some experience of business.

Vice-Chancellor Scholarships

Students holding an offer of a place on a postgraduate course will be invited to apply for a Vice-Chancellor’s scholarship. The Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship programme offers a range of rewards from £1,000 bursaries to a full fee waiver.

LSBU Graduate Loyalty Scheme

This scheme gives eligible undergraduate students and alumni a discount of their taught postgraduate tuition fees when they enrol on one of our postgraduate taught courses starting this year. All final year LSBU undergraduates, achieving a 2:1 or higher, who process directly onto an LSBU postgraduate taught course receive a 25% discount off their fees.
