Managing Europe is a complex challenge. The Master’s in European Studies gives you the expertise to operate in this fascinating environment where various levels of government come together.

This programme will provide you with the skills and concepts to engage in the research and analysis of European political and administrative issues. It takes a comparative approach, looking at the interactions between national and European bodies, their effects and the ideas behind these processes. You can opt for the one-year European Studies programme, which has a strong focus on public administration and policy, and also features a specialization in EU Regulation. You might also pursue an 18-month joint degree with the University of Münster. The programme features academic rigour, practical relevance, a cross-disciplinary perspective and a strong focus on the EU. You will gain relevant core knowledge across the full EU spectrum and specialized expertise in your choice of electives. The demand for experts who understand the complexities of Europe extends well beyond Brussels. National governments, private firms and NGOs have a growing need for professionals with the right know-how to tackle the challenges of Europe.
