The Hotel and Food Administration major offered by the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management opens the door to professional, management-oriented careers in the hotel, resort, restaurant, food service, and related industries. You will gain skills in accounting, human resources management, marketing, hotel operations, food production, and food service systems. The case study approach will help you develop and apply managerial concepts, preparing you for the practical challenges in the hospitality industry. The principal aim of the Co-op program is to facilitate the transition of students from academic studies to a professional work life by enhancing the integration of theory and practice.Graduates may find career opportunities in resort and hotel management, food and beverage management, marketing, conference co-ordination, and human resources management.
