The Bachelor’s Degree in Law is a four year degree, requiring 240 ECTS credits and including, as a compulsory module, an internship in a law firm, court or office of the public administration. It is structured around three optional itineraries (Economic Law, Private Law and Public Law).

Interdisciplinary training ensures that Law students understand the role of law in governing relationships in society, are able to interpret legal norms, develop an understanding of the most important national and international institutions (UN, EU, WTO, ECHR, etc.), can resolve case studies, draft legal documents and argue legal cases.

Law graduates are equipped to join law firms and handle matters related to all areas of law. They may also join in-house legal departments of companies or any other public or private institution, contributing their knowledge about the globalised world and the rules which govern it. A Law graduate may opt for a large number of posts in the Public Administration by taking the respective public service examinations (judge, Counsel for the State - Abogado del Estado -, diplomat, notary, registrar, professional posts in Central, Autonomic or Local Government, tax or labour inspector).
