In the Master's degree program in Industrial and Applied Mathematics and you can complete your studies in one of the following 3 specializations: * Computational Science and Engineering You will develop skills in the area of advanced and large-scale mathematical calculations. This enables you to analyze and simulate complex physical and technical processes. You gain an insight into the processes of improving quality but also to controlling processes effectively. * Discrete Mathematics and Applications You will focus on subjects ranging from crystallographic lattices to optimization of networks and chips, and computer algebra to cryptographic schemes. * Statistics, Probability and Operations Research You will concentrate on business management problems such as organizational issues, schedules and optimization of business processes. You analyze and produce models of phenomena in which randomness plays a role and you design suitable algorithms.
