The Dispute Resolution LLM provides you with the opportunity to acquire a detailed knowledge and understanding of legal rules relating to dispute resolution.

On successful completion of the programme, you will have acquired significant research and analytical skills in this area of law. You should therefore have substantially enhanced your prospects of gaining employment in dispute resolution departments of professional law firms or in other areas of work where the ability to resolve disputes is significant.

What will you study?
You take two core modules; two option modules from an extensive list; plus legal research theory and dissertation modules.

Our LLM courses are accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority for CPD purposes. On successful graduation, you are also automatically eligible for membership of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) fellowship/membership

Students on this LLM pathway who have completed the two modules, but have not sat the exam, can register with CIArb as members.

You take four modules (at least two of which must be selected from the 'core modules' list) plus legal research theory and dissertation modules.
