The Bachelor's programme "International Studies in Management" (ISM) will prepare you to undertake professional activities with an international focus. You will acquire specialised business expertise geared to the international market. The programme's practical orientation will enable you to apply scientific methods in order to solve concrete problems.
You will also acquire skills in teamwork, communication, project management, and presentation techniques. Studying in small groups is an important feature of this programme. We will focus on your individual profile development and will support you personally throughout your studies. You will be looked after and advised by a team consisting of a programme director and lecturers.

The first two semesters are spent at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences. During this time, you will study the basics of business administration as well as English and French or Spanish. You will have the possibility to attend more language courses externally. It is compulsory for students to spend the third and fourth semesters at a foreign university (preferably at a partner university of Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences).
In general, studying at our partner universities is free of charge. The course of study is carefully embedded and integrated into the study programme. In the fifth semester, you will return to Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences. In the sixth semester, you will work on a practical project.
