Economics and Business Economics

The study in Economics and Business Economics is aimed at all those who have decided on a professional career in economics, tourism, international trade, marketing, management or financial management.

The curriculum combines the program of Economics, with its course of study in Economics, and the Business Economics with the following courses of study: Tourism, International Trade and Marketing.

This study provides students with great flexibility in the field of economics and business economics with respect to their particular interests and in response to both the demands of the labour market and of European trends in academic education.

The Department of Economics and Business Economics endeavors to coordinate with related studies at the Croatian Universities of Osijek, Pula, Rijeka, Split, Opatija, Zadar and Zagreb. It is also constantly seeking active interchange with other international faculties, institutions, and organizations in Spain, Germany, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, China, France, Great Britain, Italy, Slovakia, and the United States of America.

Thanks to its international profile and program conformity to European criteria, the degree obtained at the Department of Economics and Business Economics is recognised in all member-states of the European Union.
