Requirements for Speech and Language Therapy Programme at University of Perugia

The Speech and Language Therapy programme at University of Perugia is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful Speech and Language Therapist. In order to be accepted into the programme, prospective students must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  • A minimum score of 500 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
  • A minimum score of 5.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
  • A minimum score of 70 on the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) exam
  • A minimum score of 80 on the Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) exam
  • A minimum score of 6.5 on the Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic
  • A minimum score of 60 on the Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB)
  • A minimum score of 50 on the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC)

In addition to the above requirements, prospective students must also submit a personal statement, two letters of recommendation, and a copy of their official transcripts.
