Requirements for the Philosophy Programme at the University of Pisa

The University of Pisa offers a comprehensive Philosophy programme for prospective students. To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  • A minimum score of 600 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or equivalent
  • A minimum score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or equivalent
  • A minimum score of 70 on the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or equivalent
  • A minimum score of 80 on the Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) or equivalent
  • A minimum score of 50 on the Pearson Test of English (PTE) or equivalent
  • A minimum score of 5.5 on the Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) or equivalent
