The pediatric anesthesia subspecialty training program designed to prepare physicians for the clinical practice of pediatric anesthesiology. Research opportunities are available and encouraged to assist those interested in a career in academic medicine.
The Children's Hospital Operating Rooms (CHOR) consists of a six-operating room suite with a separate PACU and admission area for children. We provide a diverse mix of clinical experiences, which includes care of the medically complex, critically-ill child and high-volume routine pediatric surgery cases. A variety of surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are performed on neonates, infants, children and adolescents. Fellows develop expertise as a perioperative physician through involvement in our Pediatric Preadmission Visit Program and the Pediatric Pain Service.
This fellowship program will allow individuals to develop clinical, teaching, administrative and research skills.
