Business and Innovation Specialisation Sustainable Business

Business leaders with strong environmental sustainability and advocacy` are increasingly sought after. Our Sustainable Business specialisation will give you the knowledge and skills to successfully implement sustainable business practices, including environmental law, biodiversity, conservations, environmental studies, sustainable economies. Through a combination of theoretical and practical studies you will gain strategic insight into sustainable business.

You will have the opportunity to explore the human impact to the natural environment though policy development and sustainable business methods. Within this specialisation, you will gain a greater understanding on environmental topics such as climate change, pollution and natural resources with effective business practices.

The third component of your studies will be a research project which will expand your knowledge in innovative business and entrepreneurship.  Choose either an Industry Innovation Project or embark on Business Innovation Research.

The Industry Innovation Project has a practical emphasis on innovative and creative approaches to current issues in the business environment. You can use your own experiences as a backdrop to your studies and develop a research project based on your current workplace.

The Business Innovation Research specialisation will allow you to gain an in-depth understanding of your business interests. Using research methods, you will explore different approaches to business and entrepreneur problems solving. This specialisation also offers a research based pathway into a PhD.

This degree emphasises collaboration with other specialities to prepare you for decision making for the future ensuring you are well equipped for this era in innovation.
