The program in hotels in China is great for those who want to reboot their career, improve or learn Chinese and discover a new world, as well as make many new and useful contacts!
Interns are offered 2 areas of work:
1. GRO (Guest relation officer) for the front office. Responsibilities will include meeting guests, advising on various issues: where guests can dine, where to book an excursion, how much hotel dry cleaning costs, and so on. The workplace in this case is the lobby and reception area.
2. GRO (Guest relation officer) for the food service (Food&Beverage). Responsibilities will include greeting guests, advising guests on the menu, helping with cleaning tables, and so on. In this case, the workplace is all the hotel restaurants.
All hotels follow the law when hiring foreigners. The intern will have a work visa, temporary residence permit, bank card and basic health insurance. Some hotels offer an extended social package. At the end of the internship, you have the opportunity to receive a letter of recommendation from your employer.
In this program it is not possible to select vacancies by city, climate, presence/absence of the sea and other filters. But most often offers come from developed Chinese metrolpolitan areas.

Employers usually offer a single studio apartment close to the hotel. Also, some hotels may offer accommodation in a hotel room. In this case, accommodation is always with a colleague (of the same gender).
Also, hotels always provide free meals three times a day. In 99% of cases, this is a combination: breakfast on the buffet + lunch and dinner in the staff canteen.
Additionally, all hotels provide two identical sets of uniforms: jacket, shirt, skirt/pants, shoes.
Preparation takes approximately 2-3 months.
If you are ready to pay 100% of the registration fee to the provider at the very beginning of work, its amount will be reduced by 2,000 rubles. In other cases, payment is made in parts.
