The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed for experienced professionals who wish to develop their managerial skills in order to operate effectively in an increasingly competitive and evolving global business environment.
The course is designed for those who are qualified in a specialised field and who wish to develop their business acumen and business skills. MBA students develop a portfolio of key management competencies that range from strategic analysis and decision making skills through to an appreciation of global business challenges, complemented by people, economics, financial, and marketing analysis skills.

- A recognised Bachelors degree, in any major, with an average mark of 50%, together with three years' full-time relevant professional or managerial experience, or part-time equivalent, and a one-page Statement of Motivation*.
- Or, a recognised Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate, together with five years' full-time relevant professional or managerial experience, or part-time equivalent, and a Statement of Motivation*.
- Or, full membership of a qualifying professional body.
- Applicants with other relevant tertiary qualifications and/ or substantial relevant professional of managerial experience will also be considered for entry.
- Level of English is required to gain admission. IELTS Academic 6.5. TOEFL (Internet-based) - 88.
- All students are required to pay Overseas Student Health Cover for the duration of their student visa. OSHC provides for medical and hospital cover for students and their dependants.Our preferred OSHC provider is BUPA.
- Applicants who have successfully completed a Master of Science (Logistics or Project Management) or the Master of International Business with at least two years' professional experience, will be eligible for up to 18 credit points' advanced standing towards the MBA.
- Successful completion of the Master of Business* with at least two years' professional experience provides up to 24 credit points' advanced standing.

Student Services and Amenities Fee
The SAF is a compulsory charge, introduced following changes to Australian Government legislation, which funds improvements to facilities for students across a broad range of service areas, such as subsidised food outlets, childcare, student advocacy as well as sporting, recreational and cultural activities.
All international students enrolled at UOW will be invoiced twice yearly for the amount determined each year. The SAF 2016 fee is:
- Wollongong campus $290.00 per year
- Sydney campus $145.00 per year
- Wollongong Innovation Campus $145.00 per year
- Other campuses in Australia $145.00 per year
Living Expenses
In addition to tuition fees, a single student living in Wollongong will require $10,000 to $12,000 a year – depending on lifestyle – to cover accommodation, food, transport and other expenses including text books and study materials and entertainment.
