Requirements for the Solo Cello Programme

In order to be accepted into the Solo Cello Programme, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You must have a minimum of two years of cello experience.
• You must have a basic understanding of music theory.
• You must be able to read music.
• You must be able to demonstrate a basic level of proficiency on the cello.
