The Master of Management (Finance) provides professional skills and knowledge to prepare you for entry into the finance profession.
The degree offers in-depth training in the areas of:
- financial management
- investment management
- derivative securities
- corporate financial policy
WHO IS IT FOR?
This degree is ideal for students holding an undergraduate degree in an area outside of business/commerce whose goal may be to assume a managerial position in the field of finance. The degree is also suited to business/commerce students who wish to add finance to their portfolio.
If you have previously studied Finance at undergraduate level you may be better suited to our Master of Finance program.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. In order to be considered for entry, applicants must have completed:
- an undergraduate degree in any discipline, or equivalent; and
- a statement of intent outlining why they wish to be considered for the course.
- TOEFL Paper based test - a score of 577 or more, Internet based test - a score of 79
- IELTS an overall band score of 6.5 or more in the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with no bands less than 6.0.
2. In ranking applications, the Selection Committee will consider:
- prior academic performance; and
- the statement of intent.
Notes:
- All applicants need to apply for the 200 point program and if they have successfully completed an undergraduate degree in a business/commerce or related discipline may be awarded up to 50 points of credit into a 150 point version of the program
- Students who discontinue from the Master of Management (including any of its named streams) but have successfully completed the requirements of the Graduate Certificate in Management or the Graduate Diploma in Management will be eligible to receive the Graduate Certificate in Management or the Graduate Diploma in Management, respectively, as an exit award.
