Requirements for Food and Nutrition Sciences Programme at University of Cagliari
The Food and Nutrition Sciences Programme at University of Cagliari is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become successful professionals in the food and nutrition sciences field. The programme is open to students from all backgrounds and requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
In order to be accepted into the programme, applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in the field of food and nutrition sciences. This can be demonstrated through a combination of academic achievements, relevant work experience, and/or volunteer activities. Additionally, applicants must have a good command of the English language, as all courses are taught in English.
Applicants must also submit a personal statement outlining their interest in the field and their goals for the future. This statement should be accompanied by two letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to the applicant’s academic and/or professional abilities.
Upon acceptance into the programme, students must complete a minimum of 120 credits in order to graduate. This includes courses in food science, nutrition, food safety, and food technology. Additionally, students must complete a research project in order to graduate.
