Welcome to the Institute of Music Studies of P.I. Tchaikovsky

We are proud to offer our students the opportunity to study Jazz Guitar in our renowned Institute of Music Studies. Our Jazz Guitar programme is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful jazz guitarist. Our curriculum covers a wide range of topics, from the fundamentals of jazz guitar playing to advanced improvisation techniques.

Our experienced faculty will guide you through the fundamentals of jazz guitar playing, including scales, chords, arpeggios, and improvisation. You will also learn about the history of jazz guitar, its various styles, and the different techniques used by jazz guitarists. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore the music of some of the greatest jazz guitarists of all time.

• A minimum of two years of jazz theory and improvisation experience.

• A minimum of two years of music composition experience.
• A minimum of two years of music technology experience.
