Requirements for Optics and Optometry Programme at The University of Padua

The University of Padua offers a comprehensive Optics and Optometry programme for prospective students. To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher
• A passing score on the Optometry Admissions Test (OAT)
• Completion of a college-level course in physics
• Completion of a college-level course in mathematics
• Completion of a college-level course in chemistry
• Completion of a college-level course in biology
• Completion of a college-level course in optics
• Completion of a college-level course in optometry

In addition to the above requirements, applicants must also submit a personal statement, letters of recommendation, and official transcripts from all previously attended institutions.
