The Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology provides students with the information and skills to be a information and communication technology practitioner, with special skills in a preferred area. The course centers around network and computer configurations, application and web programming, and database design and care. Students also have the chance to specialise in a particular element of ICT-related work. This course is excellent for students that are trying to get an ICT course with adaptive outcomes.
This class was accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS) in Professional Level (the highest level).
- Year 12 or equivalent
- VCE prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: the absolute minimum study score of 25 in English (or equivalent) or 30 at English (EAL)
- And Units 1 and 2: decent completion in 2 units (any study combination) of any Mathematics. Supplemental performance criteria and requirement requirements may also apply. English language requirements - satisfactory completion of one of the following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 higher level degree ) with overall 65 percent, all of skills 65 percent
- Minimum IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0
- TOEFL iBT (web-based ) minimum score of 75 having a hearing ring no less than 18 and writing ring no less than 20
- Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 50 (no real skills less than 50)
- Any other equivalent assessment of English language competence. Notice: A necessity for several courses, the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) can currently be done online campus at Hawthorn.
