Description
Why study Law at BU?
Our unique range of QLDs are one of only a very few in the UK to incorporate a full one year placement in industry.
You will embark on your career with the advantage of work experience (which could also count against the time you spend as a trainee Solicitor) and the edge that you gain as a candidate who offers more than the standard legal training.
Focus your Law degree - specialise
All our LLB courses are Qualifying Law Degrees which offer the additional opportunity to specialise in an area of law. We offer the following options within the LLB (Hons) Law portfolio:
- Law
- Law and Taxation (features additional CIOT exemptions)
- Business Law
- Entertainment Law
We know that deciding which aspect of Law to specialise in can be difficult, so we have designed our degrees to give you the flexibility to choose after your first year.
As all the courses have been planned with the active assistance of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), the Law Society, the Bar Council and members of the legal profession, whichever pathway you choose, all represent the academic stage of legal training.
