Social Work

Within this application, students handle a variety of units to equip them as professional social workers. They can tackle specialist units in family and connections, community and handicap, and services to young men and women. Other units cover areas like mental health, legal and ethical aspects of practice, Indigenous perspectives, and dealing with sophistication. Students may also choose a identifying study pathway like child security, international social work practice or research.

This is a Australian Association of Social Workers accredited qualification. It is an entrance credentials to the social work profession and has been determined to meet up with the Australian Social Work Education and Accreditation Standards.

• Year 12 or equivalent
• Assumed knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature, or English as Another Language (Units 4 & 3, C).
