Augsburg University of Applied Sciences is an innovative and practically-oriented university for economics and business, architecture, engineering, computer science, and art and design, with approx. 6,000 students. Courses are organised in small groups which enable students to participate intensively and have close contact with professors and lecturers. Moreover, our university works closely with numerous well-known companies and institutions to establish a business-oriented curriculum.

About the City: The city of Augsburg is situated in Bavaria, the southern part of Germany, next to Munich. Augsburg is not only the third largest city in Bavaria, but also the second oldest in Germany: founded by the Romans more than 2,000 years ago, Augsburg has had a great influence in European history - as well as in the arts, in social and economic areas and in technology. Famous personalities associated with Augsburg are the business magnate Jakob Fugger, the composer Leopold Mozart, the writer Bertolt Brecht and the engineer Rudolf Diesel, to name but a few. Arrival support: The International Office provides all information needed for getting to Augsburg.

Services and support for international students: As the programme involves a small group of students (approx. 30), extensive support is provided by faculty and staff. Furthermore, the International Office provides a number of advisory and social activities.
