The Master of Fine Arts programme is designed to provide artistic skills and knowledge of methods and theory that will prepare students for working with art at an advanced level. The Master's programme enhances students artistic insight and competence and cultivates their understanding of diverse strategies in artistic research and development. In their work on their Master's projects, students apply disparate artistic methods and techniques in an independent and reflective manner as they produce a larger project. As appropriate for their individual projects, Master students have the opportunity to work within and across a broad range of media. An openness towards the use and combination of different media encourages students to challenge traditional boundaries and to enter into an active dialogue with a range of artistic methods, traditions and discourses.
