London School of Business and Finance

The London School of Business and Finance (informally LSBF) is a private business school based in London, United Kingdom. The school is part of a for-profit education group with campuses in five countries and online. It is completely separate from and not affiliated with the similarly-named London Business School (LBS, which is the graduate business school of the University of London) or the London School of Economics. At the current time the license of LSBF is revoked that it can not offer any courses or work placement for international students.

LSBF offers Master's degree programmes in management, finance and marketing; bachelor's degrees; executive and corporate training; and professional qualification training for the ACCA, CFA, CIM and CIMA qualifications. LSBF is based in Holborn, with two campuses in central London. All degrees are awarded by parter institutions, since LSBF does not have degree-awarding powers of its own.[5] In addition the school has campuses in Manchester and Birmingham, United Kingdom; Toronto, Canada; and Singapore. LSBF's teaching and education philosophy is based on offering students the opportunity to pursue both an academic degree and a professional qualification simultaneously.

The London School of Business and Finance was founded by entrepreneur Aaron Etingen in 2003. It began as a provider of accountancy and finance programmes and training for professional qualifications such as ACCA and CIMA, later expanding to provide undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in partnership with other higher education institutions.

LSBF opened its first campus outside of the UK in Toronto, Canada, in February 2011. In June 2011, LSBF opened an institute in Singapore, the first Asia-Pacific campus of a UK-based business school. At both international offices, the school provides accounting programmes and professional qualification training.

In March 2010 LSBF launched an MBA that students may complete in as little as eight weekends. To accomplish this, LSBF offers one of the eight required courses on campus each weekend, allowing students to acquire an MBA in a relatively short period of time compared to as long as two to three years at traditional institutions.

LSBF Life Accommodation Service & Airport Transfers

LSBF Life is a dedicated accommodation and airport transfer service for all our students at LSBF. We offer a range of accommodation options to suit every individual’s needs, and we make all the arrangements on your behalf.Various accommodation options are available, ranging from English-speaking family homestays to luxury executive apartments. Our fully integrated accommodation service includes airport pick-up, making the move to London as pleasant and care-free as possible, and gives you the opportunity to make your experience in the UK a memorable one. All prices quoted are based on a week’s residency and are subject to change.

Our homestay accommodation option gives you the opportunity to live in a friendly, privately-owned London home. It provides you with the chance to practise your English skills outside the classroom, at the same time as you learn about English life and culture.
Twin room can be booked when 2 students book together and want to stay together sharing a room for the entire stay.

Staying in a flat or house share gives you a little more independence, whether you choose to have your own room or share a room with another person. Self-catering kitchens and bathrooms are shared.

We can offer premium service offers centrally located apartments, within 20 minutes of the school by public transport. House shares are also available in zones 3-4, which is a 45 minute journey from the school. All flat and house shares operate on a self-catering basis. Prices include utility bills, council tax, TV licence, weekly cleaning and linen change.

Studios are suitable for individuals or couples who want a little more privacy, and are available in zones 1 to 4. These are often chosen by students who want to study for a long period of time in serviced accommodation.

You may wish to stay in a university residence close to LSBF, where you will have your own room and share facilities with other university students, experiencing real university life in the city. Most residences are located in zone 1.

Our airport transfer service will ensure that you are picked up at the airport and taken to your destination in London. Our drivers will meet you at the passenger exit at the arrivals hall with a named placard.

There are feedback procedures in place for current and prospective students. Both involve informal and formal stages - as well as the option to appeal for current students. All complaints are confidential and will be resolved as quickly as possible.
