A dual degree in biomedical science with laws prohibits graduates to act as part of multidisciplinary teams in biomedical research, development and commercialisation.

Accordingly, it enables graduates to meet the academic requirements for entry to practise as a solicitor and/or barrister in all Australian states and territories. The QUT LLB (Hons) can also be recognised for entry purposes in West and East Malaysia, Fiji and Papua New Guinea.
