This age-old licensed graduate degree provides you the opportunity to build knowledge of their law from a global and social justice perspective. La Trobe is targeted on developing your skills in critical thinking, analysis, advocacyand mediation and negotiation. In first year, you will pay for dispute resolution and also the fundamentals of constitutional, tort, public and criminal law. All La Trobe University Bachelor of Laws and Juris Doctor law Classes include the Matters required by the Victorian Legal Admissions Board to qualify for admission to the legal profession in Victoria as an Australian lawyer. Entry to the legal profession by the Supreme Court of Victoria also requires the completion of legal training by way of a 12-month amount of Supervised Legal Training or by completing an approved practical legal training course (as an instance, at the Leo Cussen Institute or The College of Law). Nominees for admission to practise should also satisfy the Admissions Board they are a fit and proper person to be admitted to practise.
