The Master of Human Resource Management focuses on developing expertise in contemporary human resource management issues. The course is for current and aspiring HR professionals who are trying to find the comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary to participate in decision-making at senior levels within a business. The Master of Human Resource Management focuses on developing greater comprehension of human resource management, employment relations and organisational behavior. It provides participants with a thorough comprehension of the enterprise issues and challenges surrounding HRM and IR, and also equips participants with the skills required to increase value to an organisation. The course aims to give leading edge conceptual and practical understandings of individual resource management in complex and unfamiliar workplace situations in order to facilitate direction decision-making. Career options include positions in change direction and overall management, recruiting, and organisational training and development.

Students completing this level are eligible to apply to the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) to your Expert Member (MAHRI) status and/or advancement to a high degree of membership for all people who have appropriate work experience.

  • Applicants should have completed an UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted additional evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies. If the last qualification is not in a similar discipline, applicants require at least two years' relevant work experience. Applicants having a related graduate certificate should have done it together with at least a credit score. The English proficiency requirement for global students or community applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
