Canadian court bans scholarships for white single men with traditional orientation

A judge from Canada recently banned the last will of the famous radiologist Victor Priebe, who wanted to establish a special scholarship for single, white men - heterosexuals who want to do science. In the terms of the scholarship, it was also stated that the recipient should not participate in university sports competitions. The doctor also had the idea to create a special scholarship for "women who are not feminists or lesbians."

However, the court of Canada rejected the possibility of creating such scholarships on the grounds that their conditions were too offensive to become effective. Moreover, the provisions of the scholarship run counter to the "official public policy" of Canada. Therefore, the Ontario Supreme Court ruled that categorizing people according to race, marital status, and sexual orientation were invalid and contrary to public policy.

However, many Canadian universities legally have scholarships for women, non-white racial groups, or various sexual minorities. In Victorian University, for example, there are scholarships only for Chinese. Thus, the question arises that the government of Canada is following the path of prohibiting only certain programs that concern non-discriminated groups of the population.
