Internships for young curators

The Association of Cultural Institutions of the European Union (Austria, Great Britain, Germany, Finland, Sweden and France) offers young curators from the Russian Federation to undergo an internship. This program is being held for the fifth time, its goal is to provide young Russian curators with the opportunity to gain experience in European cultural institutions, as well as to establish links between Russian curators and their colleagues from European countries. The theme of this year's program is “Expanding the Horizons”.Participants in the program will rethink the conduct of cultural events and exhibitions, making them more accessible to a wider audience.

The program includes a competition for the best project, the winner of the competition will receive a grant of 3000 euros.

The duration of the internship is from June 12 to September 29, 2017, interns can choose one of the host organizations from the countries participating in the program.

Eligibility requirements

  1. Applications are accepted from candidates over 23 and under 35;

  2. Applicants must have a university degree and at least two years of curatorial practice;

  3. Participants must be citizens of the Russian Federation;

  4. Participants must speak the language of the country in which they plan to study.
