Ethics or moral philosophy is a branch of philosophy, which main subject is morality and its laws. There are several main sections of ethics, such as applied ethics, theoretical ethics, and normative ethics. Applied ethics includes bioethics, professional ethics, medical ethics, political ethics and more.

Ethics is usually taught as a Masters degree program, after a non-specialized Bachelor course in Philosophy. On our website you can find several specific programs dedicated to one of the branches of ethics studies.

Admission requirements

Applicants for Master degree programs in Ethics should hold a good first degree in Philosophy or related areas. A strong research proposal and recommendation letters are usually required.

Graduates can start a career in the area of corporate social responsibility or compliance, in medical or educational institutions or other private or government organizations.
