Masdar Institute Scholarships

The Masdar Institute of Science and Technology provides several scholarships to international students wishing to pursue a master's or PhD degree in the United Arab Emirates. The Masdar Institute of Science and Technology is the best educational institution in the world specializing in sustainability issues.

The scholarship is provided throughout the entire period of study at the university. This includes full tuition coverage, annual home ticket, new laptop, TOEFL and GRE test reimbursement, accommodation, health insurance, and a certain amount will be provided to the student each month for personal expenses.

Applicant Requirements

Applicants for the Masters Scholarship must meet the following requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or IT;

2. The minimum GPA score is 3.0 on a four-point scale;

3. The minimum GRE score is 155 (700 under the old system);

4. The minimum TOEFL score is 91 (online test), or the minimum IELTS score is 6.5.

Applicants for a PhD scholarship must meet the following requirements:

1. Master's degree in Engineering, Science or IT;

2. The minimum GPA score is 3.0 on a four-point scale (bachelor's degree) and 3.2 on a four-point scale (master's degree);

3. Suggestions (ideas) for research.

4. Other requirements are the same as for masters.

How to apply?

The scholarship can be applied for online.In addition to the questionnaire, it includes the following list of documents:

1. Copies of diplomas and transcripts;

2. Motivation letter;

3. Copies of all certificates;

4. Summary;

5. The names and email addresses of three referrers.

Applications will end on May 30, 2017.
