Science-PINS for neuromodulation competition for neuroscientists

Scientists-neuroscientists involved in neuromodulation research are invited to participate in the Science-PINS for neuromodulation competition. Neuromodulation is any form of alteration in nervous activity by physical or chemical stimulation of neurons.

Contestants must write an essay (approximately 1,500 words long) describing their research in the field of neuromodulation.The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of $ 25,000, as well as the opportunity to publish in Science.

Requirements for participants

1. The maximum age of the contestants is 45 years;

2. The essay should describe the research process and its implications for neuromodulation;

3. The survey must have been completed within the last three years;

4. Participants must have completed their degree no more than ten years ago.

How to submit an application

An application for participation in the competition can be submitted on the website.In addition to the essay itself, you must also download:

1. A letter of recommendation from a supervisor or other scientific worker;

2. CV, including a list of publications, awards and professional experience;

3. Copies of two works closest to the research topic.

Applications will end on March 15, 2017.
