Startup competition from the Danish government

Government Denmark invites talented entrepreneurs from all over the world to participate in the startup competition.Successful participants will receive a work visa and will be able to develop their project in Denmark.The visa is issued for two years, but program participants will be able to extend it for three years an unlimited number of times.

No project funding provided.

Innovative projects with obvious potential are allowed to participate in the competition.Thus, business plans for restaurants, shops, import / export businesses (as well as other businesses with no technical focus) are likely to be rejected.

Participation in the competition is free.However, if you win, you will need to pay a fee of 2.315 kroons to cover the costs of obtaining a residence permit and work visa.

The winners of the competition will also be able to bring their families with them to Denmark.

Who can apply to participate?

Applications are accepted from private entrepreneurs from countries outside the EU and the European Economic Area.It is allowed to submit joint projects to the competition, but each project participant must register separately.The maximum number of participants working on one startup is two.

How to apply?

To apply for participation in the competition, you must fill out a form on the official website.The questionnaire includes information about the project, as well as about the project participants.Applications are accepted until December 31, 2017.

Competitors will be notified of their results six weeks after submission of the application.
