Tourism is probably the most popular sector in Hospitality. Students choosing travel and tourism specialization receive a huge amount of useful skills, such as logistics, human resource management, leadership, teamwork, IT, research and presentation skills, problem-solving and communication skills.
Undergraduate study programs in Tourism usually last from two to four years, some universities offer online programs for those who don’t have an opportunity to complete a degree on campus. All programs include an internship, some universities also provide a year abroad for Tourism students. All programs are taught in English, but sometimes students receive other language lessons if they have chosen tourism in a particular country as a specialization.

As Tourism is one of the world leading industries, a degree in tourism is extremely demanded. Graduates holding a Bachelors degree in Tourism can start career in tourism agencies as managers and consultants, or work in hospitality field, or find a job in quality control area and spend a life travelling around the world. Graduates can also find a job in travel journalism or media, in sales and marketing, or in human resource management.
Graduates holding a Bachelor degree in Tourism can continue their education in Tourism area, or apply for Masters study programs in other sectors of Hospitality or Heritage. Usually Masters degree in these areas is not required, but it can be useful in such areas as ecotourism tour management. Graduates holding a Masters or PhD degree can also start teaching or consulting career.
