PhD at Vienna Graduate School of Finance

The Graduate School of Finance in Vienna provides international students with the opportunity to obtain a PhD in finance .

In order to apply to study at the Graduate School of Finance, a candidate must meet the following requirements:

1. DegreeMaster's degree (if you get your master's degree after the deadline, but before June 2017, you can also apply);

2. Knowledge of financial economics;

3. Knowledge of mathematics and / or statistics;

4. Fluency in English;

5. Effectiveness in achieving goals.

Applications for training can be submitted online until December 13, 2016.To do this, you must provide the following list of documents:

1. Motivation letter;

2. All evidence of awarding degrees - diplomas and certificates;

3. Transcript - transcript of the diploma supplement;

4. GMAT or GRE test results not more than five years old;

5. Proof of English Proficiency - Results of TOEFL, IELTS, CAE or others;results should be no more than two years old.In addition, you can provide other evidence, such as: documents confirming the education received in English or a master's thesis written in English.

6. At least two letters of recommendation.

Reference letters must be sent by the referrers themselves to office@vgsf.ac.at before December 13, 2016.Recommenders must not be affiliated in any way with the Vienna Graduate School of Finance.
