International Summer University in Hungary

Until May 15, applications for participation in the Summer University "1989 - 2019: 30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall" are open.The project will run from June 28 to July 6.Students, young researchers, entrepreneurs and everyone who is ready for an international dialogue are invited to Hungary.The working language is English.

During this year's discussions, it is planned to reassess the achievements and difficulties of Central and Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans.It is expected that, following the meeting, a collection of essays will be published - it will include the works of young scientists who will review important events that have occurred over the past 30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall.

This year's topics:

1. Narratives and Evaluations of Transition.

2. Social Entrepreneurship.

3. Memory Politics.

4. Competing Cultures.

5. Sustainability and Resilient Societies.

6. Citizenship in Europe.

A registration fee of € 250 is required. The organizers provide free room and board, and study materials.The program includes lectures, discussions and excursions.Participants will independently cover travel, visa and insurance costs.
