How to apply to the best university in Switzerland
Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) is the only university in the top ten according to QS Top University that is not located in the US or UK.This university is ranked 10th in 2018, but according to the rating for 2019, it moved up several lines and took 7th place.

- Learning a second foreign language,
- Learning your native language,
- Mathematics,
- Natural sciences (physics, chemistry or biology),
- Humanities andsocial sciences (geography, history, economics or law),
- Electives (items from items 2,4 or 5).
Entrance exams are also required at ETH Zurich.Most universities in Switzerland require a certificate and two years of study at a university in their country.ETH has different requirements: you must provide confirmation that you are admitted to the university in your home country for the desired program, but also pass an abbreviated entrance exam.If you do not provide proof, then you are taking the complete exam.
The abbreviated version includes a test of knowledge in mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics.The complete, in addition to these subjects, includes assignments in German, a second foreign language (English, French or Italian), geography and history.
A package of documents must be attached to the application for admission:
- Resume,
- A copy of the certificate,
- A copy of the document with grades or transcripts of grades for the last 3 years,

- Confirmation of payment of the 150 franc fee (for application).

- A copy of the diploma and its annex,
- A copy of the certificate,
- Confirmation of knowledge of the language.

Language skills
The university accepts the following language certificates in German:
- Goethe-Zertifikat C1 with a minimum grade of 'gut'.
- Goethe-Zertifikat C2, in which all parts of the exam must be passed.
- TestDaF with a minimum level of 4 in each part.
- ÖSD Zertifikat C1 with a minimum grade of "gut bestanden".
- DSH-3
- Deutsches Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz.Second level with a minimum C1 grade for each section.
To study in English, you must provide a certificate for one of the exams:
- IELTS withminimum score 7,
- TOEFL IBT with minimum score 98,
- C2 Proficiency (CPE) grade C,
- C1 Advanced (CAE) grade B.
Scholarships
For masters possible:
- Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Program.A full scholarship of 11,000 francs per semester for accommodation and a tuition fee of 580 francs per semester.
