Best Universities in the World: Overview by Specialty
Where are the best departments of mathematics or physics? And linguistics? And the stories? The annual QS World University Rankings by Subject is an analysis of universities in 42 subjects, which helps to understand where a particular subject is best taught.
This year's ranking has shown that UK universities are recognized as leaders in teaching in mathematics, English, history and the arts. The leading universities in the field of business and finance are located in America and, in addition, the best universities in 31 specialties are located there.In addition, the ranking includes universities in Hong Kong, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Four universities on the list are at the top of this year's ranking of the best universities:
The creator of the rating, Ben Souter, commented on the results:that the United Kingdom and the United States dominate the list, and other countries have begun to appear in our rankings. Some of them can even be called exotic.If you look at a detailed analysis of each specialty, you can see that Australia, South Africa, Finland, Brazil, China and Sweden entered the top 10.Our analysis of the art history specialty includes 27 different countries, and our mining engineering study covers 26. ”
