British School Rome Scholarships

British school at Rome invites postdocs to participate in a one-year program from September 16, 2019 to July 31, 2020.A monthly stipend of £ 750 is paid. In addition, the organizers provide free room and board. You can apply until May 9.It is required to develop a project in the field of social sciences related to the interests of the candidate.

Those who received a doctorate degree no earlier than May 2016 at a university in the UK are eligible to participate in the program.

To participate, you need to fill out an application. It is necessary to provide detailed information about education, send links to publications, provide a research plan written in a language understandable for a wide academic audience, and also talk about your expectations from a trip to Rome.

It is necessary to indicate if you plan to publish a book, an article in the media after working in Italy, take part in a conference or prepare for a new project. The total number of characters in responses must not exceed 9750 (including spaces).

It is also required to answer the question about the knowledge of Italian and any plans related to the study of this foreign language. Please note that program organizers provide free group lessons for all fellows.
