Requirements

Scholarship applications are currently being accepted.Documents are accepted until November 6.Who can participate?What are the requirements for candidates?

  • You must have citizenship of oneof the indicated countries .The list includes Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and others.
  • After training, you must return for at least two years.
  • You must provide educational documents and have a bachelor's degree, which is necessary for admission to the desired program.
  • Work experience of at least two years is important.Work refers to volunteering, paid and unpaid internships, full or part-time employment.
  • There are two recommendations to get.No need to download emails yourself.When submitting an application, you must leave the contacts of two people who can recommend you.They will be contacted directly.
  • You are required to have a good knowledge of the English language.The results of the following exams are accepted:

- Academic IELTS.You must score at least 6.5 points for the exam as a whole and 5.5 for each section.

Pearson PTE Academic.The minimum mark for the entire exam is 58 points.For separate parts - 42 points.

- TOEFL iBT.You need to get 79 points, of which 17 for listening, 18 for reading, 20 for speaking and 17 for writing.

- C1 Advanced (formerly Cambridge English: Advanced [CAE]).The minimum requirements are 176 points in total and 162 points for each part.

- Trinity ISE II (B2).Score 2 for listening, 15 for reading, 8 for speaking, and 14 for writing.

  • Your age does not matter.

Important!Please be aware that the university you are applying to may require scores higher than those required for a scholarship, and may set different criteria for candidates.In this case, you must comply with the requirements of the educational institution and the requirements of the Chevening program.

You can choose from three programs at the same or different universities when you apply.The programs also have some requirements:

  • Training begins in the fall.
  • Duration no more than one year.
  • A complete program taught at a university rather than online.
  • Research programs are prohibited.You can only apply for taught programs.
  • You must complete your master's degree upon graduation.

If your application meets all the requirements, you will be invited for an interview in one of the cities where the British Embassy is located.Skype interviews are only scheduled in exceptional circumstances.You will be asked questions according to the documents you have uploaded online and how the scholarship will help you achieve your goal.

Amount of funding

The scholarship varies according to the chosen program and covers:

  • Your studies at the university.
  • Accommodation.A monthly stipend is provided.
  • The cost of an economy class flight.
