International Prize "Cultural Innovation" 2016-2017, Barcelona, ​​Spain.

The Second International Cultural Innovation Prize supports projects to protect the environment, offering an unusual and effective solution to one of the main problems of the 21st century - climate change. Throughout the school year, the Barcelona Cultural Center (Center de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona) will host events to raise awareness of global warming. The main event is the exhibition "After the end of the world", which will feature the works of the winners of the competition. The exhibition will take place in October 2017. In addition to participating in the exhibition, the winner will receive a prize of € 20,000 for the implementation of the project.

Participants are expected to projects and research within the framework of the third culture (studies of the relationship between art, science and technology), education (projects involving teachers, children and families), social initiative (projects,providing collective participation). However, you can submit any project, the only prerequisite is that it must contain innovative methods of combating climate change or paying attention to this problem.

The project must be submitted in English, Spanish or Catalan.You can work on a project alone or in a team.

Projects will be selected according to the following criteria:

1. Innovativeness of the project;

2. Combining formats and methods;

3. Impact of the project - special attention will be paid to those proposals that have a tangible positive impact on society.

4. Project viability - the project should not be too expensive or too long term.

5. Project interactivity;

Requirements for participants:

1. Competitors must be of legal age;

2. Commercial legal entitiesit is forbidden to take part in the competition;

3. In addition, you cannot enter the competition if you won the previous time, or if you work for the CCCB or the Legal and Technical Commission.
