Travel grants from the European Cultural Foundation
The European Cultural Foundation provides grants for cultural workers to travel to Europe. The aim of this project is to contribute to the formation of a society with a strong sense of social justice and equality. During the trip, the fellows will create joint projects with European artists and activists.
Grants are not provided for travel, self-development, volunteer projects and internships, contests, interviews, auditions, festivals, conferences.
The amount of the grant is from 250 to 600 euros, it depends on the desired mode of travel (larger grants are distributed to those traveling by train or bus) and the duration of the trip. The minimum distance is 100 kilometers.
Requirements for projects
Travels of project participants should be carefully planned and a detailed plan of activism should be drawn up. Projects should cover one or more of the following topics: communes, public spaces, free culture, co-creation, direct civil governance, social innovation, social inclusion, migration, diversity, environmental sustainability.
How to apply?
In order to apply for a grant, you must fill out a questionnaire in English on the project website, as well as provide the following documents:
Information about the project budget;
Resume including travel history;
Copies of invitation letters from organizations with which you plan to cooperate.
Application must be submitted at least 60 days prior to travel.
