Emile-Boutmy Scholarship, Sorbonne, France

University Sciences Po provides several scholarships for outstanding international students. The Emile-Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to students who are not residents of EU countries.

The Sorbonne Paris Cité University Consortium is a consortium of the best universities in France, including Sciences Po.Sorbonne Paris Cité provides students with the highest level of education and the opportunity to develop in any scientific field.

The Emile-Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to outstanding undergraduate or graduate students. The scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis, the main criteria are the student's academic performance and financial situation.

The amount of the scholarship

For bachelors is from 3000 € to 12300 € per year, for masters - from 5000 € to 16000 € per year.

Applicant Requirements

To be eligible for the Emile-Boutmy Scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:

  1. Applications for studies at Sciences Po must be submitted for the first time;

  2. The student cannot be a resident of an EU country;

  3. A student cannot have real estate, taxes from which are paid to the tax fund of the EU countries;

  4. Students must be admitted to Sciences Po for an undergraduate or graduate degree program.

The following applicants cannot be admitted to the Emile-Boutmy Fellowship:

  1. Students fromSwitzerland and Norway;

  2. Students with dual citizenship, one of which is citizenship of an EU country;

  3. Residents of Quebec can only apply for an undergraduate program;

  4. Students enrolled in dual specialty programs (the list of exceptions can be found on the official website);

  5. Postgraduate students (PhD);

  6. Students entering a one-year master's program;

  7. Exchange students.

Note thatthe Emile-Boutmy scholarship cannot be supplemented by any other scholarship.

How to apply?

In order to apply for the scholarship, you must indicate this in your application for admission to Sciences Po.

Deadline for bachelors - May 2, 2017, for masters - January 13, 2017.
