Residences in Europe for curators from Russia

Don't miss your chance to gain experience in leading European cultural organizations! Applications are open for participation in the annual program "Residences in Europe for curators from Russia". During your internship abroad, you will develop your own project, which in six months will need to be presented at the Battle of Curators.A grant of € 4,000 will be allocated for the implementation of the best idea. In addition, there will be an audience award (€ 1,000).

Requirements:

- Russian citizens can take part in the program;

- age from 23 to 35 years old;

- higher education in the humanities;

- excellent knowledge of English or the language of the host;

- at least two years of work as a curator of a cultural project.

Selected candidates will complete internships of 3 to 5 weeks from 1 July to 30 October 2019.

You can take an internship in one of the six residences participating in the project:

1. Center for Contemporary Art Ars Electronica in Austria;

2. National Center for Plastic Arts Le Chateau d'Oiron in France;

3. Lenbachhaus Museum in Germany;

4. RUPERT Arts Center in Lithuania;

5. Drents Museum in the Netherlands;

6. Center for Contemporary Art Köttinspektionen in Sweden.
